De in New York geboren Marcus Miller (1959) is jazzmuzikant, klassiek klarinettist, zanger, componist en producent, maar waarschijnlijk het allerbekendst als basgitarist van onder anderen Miles Davis, Luther Vandross en David Sanborn. Millers eigen muziek is een mengeling van funk, jazzrock en r&b.

Marcus Miller op Facebook, zaterdag 5 mei:"Had a blast last night in London. We'll be in Cheltenham tonight, Manchester tomorrow and at Paradiso in Amsterdam on Tuesday. Here's a bit of the show from Poland, with surprise special guest, Lezsek Mozdzer. A bunch of you got the name of the first song right, but only one person got the second (which is about 16 minutes into this clip). Here's a hint...it's something I wrote for Miles Davis."
